Changes (early returns, extensions) must first be reported to the international responsible at the university. New insurance cards can be requested by simple mail to info@expatinsurance.eu, as far as allowed/paid by the university ormobility coordinator.
What to do in case of a claim?
Always keep your cover letter with you, wherever you go.
IN CASE OF HOSPITALISATION:
- Take immediately (or let take the hospital) contact with ACE Assistance:

(you find these details also on your insurance card ) - They can advance you the money if you have to pay immediately,
otherwise see the procedure for "other medical treatment".
IN ALL OTHER CASES OF MEDICAL TREATMENT:
- Download here theClaim form health & accident.
- Fill in the claim form
- Add the ORIGINAL doctor bills, invoices and all proof of costs (always keep a copy of these bills)
- Add a copy of the diagnose and/or prescription of medication or appliances
- Don't forget to add your account number including IBAN-code, BIC/SWIFT code and the name and address of your bank.
- Also don't forget date and description of the illness/injury. (If Company doesn't know why you went to the doctor they do not reimburse).

- We 'll handle your claim in the soonest way. You can expect the money on your account within 1 month.
- What is covered? Only urgent medical necessary treatments are covered. This means that check-ups, for example, or treatments that can wait untill you're back in the home country, will not be reimbursed.
IN CASE OF LOSS OR DELAY OF LUGGAGE/BAGGAGE:
- Take the claim form we sent you, or download it here
- Fill in the claim form
- Add the ORIGINAL bills of the replacement goods you bought, because you urgently needed them (always keep a copy)
- Add the ORIGINAL P.I.R. (Property Irregularity Report) you received from you airline company
or the ORIGINAL police report (always keep a copy) - Don't forget to add your account number including IBAN-code, BIC/SWIFT code and the name and address of your bank
